The shaving cycle.

I got a message around 2:30 this morning from Jamie. Oddly, this is kinda early for our little chats, but no complaints. She has recently discovered the joys of Photoshop and all its wonder, but had a question about ImageReady, the little animation program that comes with Photoshop. Now, I have not played with ImageReady since IUPUI and only briefly then, but I remember it being easy. So, I am like, sure, that is easy. Then we both spend about an hour figuring it out on our own. I only did one, because I hate gifs. And I refuse to having it showing all the time, because I have standards about how I display things. Anyways, I took the face I normally have displayed on the site, and modified it to show the shaving cycle. I would not expect more, but I thought it was funny enough to show.

Goatboy from way back...

Ok, so I am almost done organizing my images directory, but I have a half dozen pics that have no home on the site. Five of them came from the goatboy post. For those who don't remember, don't worry, it was only up for 12-36 hours. The wife was freaking out about it so I thought her sister would as well since it was her child I was hacking in the pic. Originally, it was going to be me with goat legs, but I could not find a suitable pic of me that would lend itself to the process so I started going through pics of other people and bam, I found poor, poor Kyle.

Vampire: Desktop?

Ok, so I broke away from Vampire long enough to play in Photoshop to make a new desktop image...of a scene in Vampire. Oh well, I made it, I like it, and I am going to share it. It is a 1024x768 image weighing in at 464kb easily accesible by clicking on the image at the right.

Expecting to fail...

I decided recently that I need new direction with how I spend my time, especially now that the wife is becoming more and more overwhelmed with school and work. One of the things I was wanting to do is spend more time in Photoshop. I really enjoy it, and while I know I am better with it than your average Joe, I also know my skills are seriously lacking. I also wanted to work on the page a little more, either working on rantfest or just posting more. Sadly, I know that I will keep falling back on video games.

In honor of the Holy Trilogy being released...

I have watched episodes 4-6 of Star Wars the last two days, and it made me want to look up some funny stuff dealing with the genre. So I went to the best place to find humor: Awful Forums and came across a thread talking about changes George Lucas was making to the new releases, which basically translates to "edit pics like mad and post them here". It made me want to make one...so I did.

The wife put a pic up...and I have not played in Photoshop for too long...so here we go. I suppose possible captions for this could be: "They gave me an apple, I wanted chocolate, so they had to die." or "Behold the evil of Erin and Kyle!" or maybe even "Only you can prevent forest fires... cause we are not gonna fuckin' do it."
