I had started a post last week about the Terre Haute Job Fair I attended last week, but I opted to pull it before it got posted. The event was not at all impressive, had multiple companys with double booths trying for douple exposure, and a smell that reminded me of the stale fart and popcorn mix you get at the end of the night on the third or fourth day of a county fair. There were some god places in attendence, and I got a couple of resumes out and apps singed. But there were also some companies who sent morons. They were probably last minute adopters who would have had a better showing if they had more prep time. But then, this is Terre Haute, so who knows. Kind of amusing, one of the companies was hiring for seasonal help, saw I had attended Vincennes University for Electrical Engineering, and started asking about if I did plumbing or car repair because they needed technicians. Never having done either, I said no, but I still got a call back the next day to take the technician test this Wednesday.

Erin recently purchased Lego Star Wars for the PS2, so we have been playing that a lot lately. I am roughly two-thirds done with it. Erin is (wisely) trying to get through a level a day instead of spending too much time at once playing (unlike my 9 levels last night and I will probably go back after this post). I have hit that predictable lull in EQ again. I really need to look for a guild or something. As it is, I just putz around doing nothing while on or stare at the bazaar window waiting for sales.

Hmm, I originally had a series of things to post about running around in my head that I wanted to get out all at once...maybe they will come to me later.

Yeah, except I did about five levels yesterday while you were asleep. I need to slow down! I should alternate it with cross stitching. That's much, much, much, much slower. :)

if you get a job doing that technician thingy you need to get a shirt embroidered with your name on it.

Shirt with embroidery?

Dude, that right there is some incentive to try and do something you're most likely incapable of. ;) After all, you were studying to be an engineer, NOT a technician! Maybe you'll get that job for the farming place instead...
