EQ GTA AC kb - Computer - EverQuest - Games

So, I let my EverQuest account go again. I kinda half miss it...more I miss the filling of free time than the actual play. I am sure I will pick it up again eventually, but that can wait. As it is, we are more than broke so that is a good motivation not to start back just yet. I would also like to get in the swing of the new job before making a major commitment to an MMO again.

In the meantime, I have picked up Grand Theft Auto 3 and Vice City again. Amusingly enough, I picked it up because Jack Thompson (not sure how much I would trust the link. It is a wiki, and this guy is idiot enough that a lot of people want to make fun of/harass him) was in the news being dumb again. For some reason everytime he comes out and makes some link between random acts of violence and video games I just want to play more.

We got a new air conditioner today. The amusing this about that is today was probably the best it had felt outside since it went out. It is nice to know I no longer need a fan pointed at me to just sit here without sweating. I am really glad the people we rent from took care of it so promptly. I have rarely had an occasion to bitch about them and I like to keep it that way. They are far better than anyone else we have rented from (five places in all).

Fun with keyboards: So, I took back the Microsoft keyboard I mentioned back in March. For the most part I liked it, but I started running into the same "blackouts" in where the sensor would pick up the keyboard, so I took it back. I basically realized that if it had to stay on the desk there was no reason to have it cordless, so why spend the $60-80 on it. I grabbed my really old corded ergo keyboard which is just barely new enough to have that fancy "Windows" button on it. Sadly, I found I was far too much in the habit of hitting my multimedia keys, so I broke out my old Logitech cordless. I have basically gone full circle with the keyboards. So, what was the point in mentioning this? To justify any odd typos in this and maybe the next couple of posts. I had really got used to the Microsoft keyboard, which has a low tilt to the keys and a fairly gradual split-feel (not an actual split). Then to pop to my corded ergo, with has a steeper tilt on the keys (which is what I would consider normal, or at least was a couple of years ago) and a huge split in the middle. And now, back to my Logitech, with has two tilts: a slight negative tilt back and tilting down from the center split, and the split is not quite as big as the corded one. Anyways, I am messing up far more than normal and I have decided to blame the keyboards, because I am typing just as much as normal.
