A little new a little old. - Site News

I was looking for an old post of mine and realized that I never put the page numbers back on the page, so that was the first thing I did. Of course, then I realized there were a few inconsistancies going from the posts that were created here at bluehost.com and those that were created when we still hosted it out of the apartment, so I fixed some of them. Then I realized that I was doing nothing with the Categories from the older posts, so I edited the old code to display them and use them, then edited the new codebase to pass the category to the old codebase. Yes, it is boring, but will assist in finding stuff.

I was reading my cousin's site and noted that he just hit a year on his site, which is fairly impressive. It also got me curious as to how long our sites had been up, so I did some digging, and I am going to continue doing some digging until I can find everything. I am fairly certain I lost roughly the first year of posts for toomucheffort.com. I registered it in early 2003 and my first post, and the first one you can get to here, is on January 25, 2004. writingingreen.com (Erin's page that was started within a week of mine) has updates going back to July 2, 2003, and I know I was posting activly before she was. Prior to starting toomucheffort.com and writingingreen.com with Erin, I used to host 2lameguys.com with Damien and it has updates spanning back to October 15, 2000. I know there should be more, but not too much more since the site was created in the fall of 2000.

Anyways, all this has got me digging around in archive CDs and such looking around at all the stuff we have thrown together.

2lameguys.com was an awesome site! Archives are fun, I love the "WTF was I thinking back then?" type stuff. hehe
