Ok, I think I have the basic idea and some sketches of what I am going to do for our first little project. Keep in mind that this is just a "see what you can do" project and nothing huge, but since it is the first potential piece of art I have done since high school, I don't want it to suck too bad. Anyways, a few months ago I was gonna do a Photoshop edit of myself in a straitjacket. I had been tossing around the idea for awhile, trying to figure out the position and context and was leaning toward an underwater Houdini scene since I had never played with water effects. Needless to say, that never happened...and probably won't since I still have to finish my last project and I have not touched it since before the move. (Also, sidenote, expect my few previous Photoshop stuff, along with some other posts, to pop up before too terribly long).
Back to the project: I drew out rough idea in ArtRage, found a pic of a straitjacket design I liked (did not realize how many different designs there were), got the wife to do a posture pic of me with the camera, and drew out a rough draft on a legal pad. Tomorrow, if the desire is still there, I will probably spend most of the day polishing it out. I will take a pic once I finish.
Oh, and the pointed hat...gonna be a dunce hat. Just hate doing text at an angle so I try to minimize the number of times I do it.
