Generic Holiday Wishes - Design
Posted on: 2009-12-15 02:27:30

I always start these little holiday themes a day or two before the actual holiday, decide about an hour into the process that it isn't worth the time to only be up for a couple of days, and drop whatever idea I had. But I figured all the whining about the phrase Happy Holidays we get to listen to every year was just too amusing to pass up. So happy/merry whatever is important to you...except Festivus.

EDIT: The wife thought I should link my original images for the tree if for no other reason than to show off the scale. So here are the links to the Tree and Present. Oh, and the ornaments on the tree aren't little anti-Christmas tree symbols, they are the top of the tree...because it is pointless. I hope I don't have to explain that joke, but I am sure Rook won't get it, and will have a post with at least two expletives voicing his lack of understanding.

Festivus

Does this mean that you don't want to hear any of our complaints? Site looks good by the way. Hope to see you and wife over the generic holidays.

So you aren't up for the annual household wrestling this year or airing your grievances? Uncool bro, uncool.

Too many edits

This is what happens when I edit down something funny to try and be brief and non-offensive...it loses all signs that there was a joke in there to begin with. The original long rambly post was supposed to make fun of the intolerance of the 'War on Christmas' type people while at the same time being intolerant of Festivus.

I got the point...
